Glossary

MDF:
This is an acronym for medium-density fiberboard. It is a building material made from engineered wood. Hardwood and softwood are broken down into fibers and mixed with a binder of wax and resin. It is made into sheets by the application of heat and pressure.

ITSF stands for the International Table Soccer Federation. The federation approves foosball tables that meet the standards for international competitions.

Abacus-style scoring:
This is the low-tech scoring way of keeping score on your foosball table. The balls on the abacus can be moved when one team scores a goal.
